Directly on Lake Lucerne, between the city centre and the view of the most beautiful Alpine panorama, you will discover a cuisine that brings the scent of mountain meadows, the clarity of spring water and the warmth of Alpine mountain huts to your plate.
Culinary offer
The team led by chef Maximilian Huber creates a menu full of depth, clarity and character. In dialogue with producers, dishes are created that are shaped by the rhythm of nature – and combine Alpine tradition with modern and cosmopolitan culinary art.
We don’t stage regionally – we live it. Conscious, contemporary and genuinely close to the product and its origins.
You can look forward to surprising and always authentic culinary creations in a relaxed atmosphere. The culinary experience is accompanied by a carefully curated wine list with wines full of character – and for those who prefer not to drink alcohol, we have creatively composed non-alcoholic drinks.
By the way: Our wines come from Switzerland, the Alpine region and from sustainable, family-run vineyards – carefully selected to harmoniously complement the culinary experience.

The KKL Luzern is delighted that Maximilian Huber will take over from Michèle Meier as head chef at the Lucide Restaurant, which has been awarded one MICH-ELIN star and 16 GaultMillau points, from 1 May 2025.
